With the summary of 44 years of business career at FRP world,

        2021/03

        Dear my friend,

I would like to say GOODBYE.

One of the greatest things I have learned at a trading company was what it

means to WORK. I have realized that there are THREE CATEGORIES OF WORK, which I have since embraced

        as my own position.

        1. WORK FOR SURVIVAL

Those who work in order to starve to death are not given a choice of occupation. The majority of workers in the developing countries are day laborers who have sold their daughters to prostitution houses and have sent their sons to run errands for gangs because they cannot make ends meet as peasants.

Many of the workers in the overseas joint venture factories are living their daily lives. Their daughters and sons are not resentful, and their dream is to be FILIAL TO THEIR PARENTS. The parents also have the natural humanity to share half of their bread with the poorer ones. Rather than condemning the barbaric and illegal acts that these people repeatedly commit in order to survive, it was the idea of how I could be closer to them that gave me the power to inspire my own work ethics.

        1. WORK FOR COST OF LIVING

In developed countries, where people are provided with food, clothing, and shelter they have the right to choose between school, work, marriage, and hobbies. What they work for is also up to them. They can work to eat better food, to dress more gorgeously, to live in a bigger house, to do whatever they want.

To get more wealth and convenient life, people seek higher income from their occupations. The capitalist side, on the other hand, imposes corresponding abilities, such as intellectual, physical strength, skills, and the ability to collect money. The result is it made a society of educational superior, inequality, and discrimination.

The economy poses a variety of unsolvable problems to society. People who work for money or in other words, for living expenses, tend to prioritize their own profit and loss and judge others based on their USE and VALUE. This is why the gods and Buddha turn their backs on them.

Working to earn a living for oneself or one’s family is not wrong on an individual basis. But capitalism takes advantage of people who work to make ends meet, and through their systematization, the concentrated capital reinforces the order of the law of the jungle DOG-EAT-DOG WORLD.

Trading companies, which deal with many countries, have a more detailed understanding of how the system works than other industries. This is the type of job where the mechanism is more apparent than in other industries. It must be unbearable to overlook the injustice of those who work for survival or those who are professionally weak while being in a free position.

The reason is that all people have a potential value, DIGNITY MORE THAN MONEY.

        1. WORK FOR DREAM

The greatest joy in the professional consciousness of those who work for their dream is to be in a position to give courage and hope, not be in a position to be given. Anyone can be a giver by the way they feel. Just imagine the smile on the face of a young boy or a quiet old woman, and push yourself just a little bit harder so that your work can contribute to them.

Developing Science and Technology, improving governance, and accumulating wealth are important, but before that, what is more, important is the destination of that goal. The most advanced in Science and Technology was Germany’s Hitler, the most advanced in governance was the British Empire, and the most advanced in wealth accumulation was the Jewish merchants. They are the eagles, falcons, and vultures of SELF FIRST, and all of them are creatures that seek to REIGN. I kept dreaming about the DOVE of FRP Services & Company.

The dove in our company’s logo is a dream guide who delivers FRP products to the global market. Why a dove? The dove is a symbol of peace and happiness, and the FRP dove is a gathering of people who want to become dream guides to bring peace and happiness to the world. No matter what your educational background, job experience, or qualification is.

When I took the entrance exams, FRP Services & company was the smallest company among the others that I took an exam for. I was attracted by the appeal of the philosophy behind this logo and strongly begged examiner Iwamoto to hire me. After I made up my mind to work for my dream, I mysteriously met many people who had made the same decision. Especially below 6 gentlemen Bengali Farid Ahmed, Sinhalese Dudley Fernando, Palestinian Ali Kolagassi, Irish John Tidy, Singaporean Hakka Stephen Seow, and Siamese Wichit Chirapong Sanarulak.

It was a pleasure to work with those who work for their dreams. No pressures, no backstabbing, no suffering of sharing each one’s fault, no suspicion, no need of talent, just trust.

Trust is all that is needed. The overseas department expansion, upgrade from a secondary domestic distributor to a primary distributor, the transition to exclusive distributor of imported materials, new open of processing department and the establishment of overseas JV factories, etc.

Each milestone of my big scaled projects was always helped by those dreamers without regard for profit and loss. My joy hit the sky. The key to business is to tolerate different values and share dreams rather than to compete in price wars, high or low quality, fast or slow delivery. Dreamy work can turn hardship into joy.

        ………………………………………………………

Pleasures of trading jobs are coming from dangerous adventure and uncharted voyages. It is different from government offices and banks etc., which value security, safety, and stability. SMEs small and medium-sized enterprises must not ponder to power or exclude undesirables. Otherwise, they will be swallowed up by high-capital enterprises.

In this way, there are 3 ways to work, WORK FOR SURVIVAL, WORK FOR COST OF LIVING, WORK FOR DREAM.

I do beg you to choose

        WORK FOR DREAM.

If you look at it from a long-term perspective, working for your dream is the most beneficial. Why is that?

There will always be a strong TAILWIND.

        Last but not least.

Japanese best businessman, Eiichi Shibusawa left us his motto titled Seven Lessons for Dream

Those without dreams have no ideals

Without an ideal, there is no belief

Without belief, there is no plan

Without a plan, there is no action

Without action, there is no result

Without results, there is no happiness

        Therefore, those who seek happiness

        must be started from dreams.

Dream/Ideal/Belief belongs to the METAPHYSICAL world while Plan/Action/Result belongs to the physical(realistic) world. Metaphysics start firsthand physics comes second. If you make a mistake in the order, you will go astray.

There is a hit song by Maruko Miyagi, a girlfriend of my best novelist Junnosuke Yoshiyuki was singing

… I never cry because I am used to receiving wind chill or starving, but it is

hard not to have a dream …

The coolest artist to me, John Lennon,

whispered to Yoko Ono in a pickup line

… the dream you dream alone is just a dream, the dream you dream together

        is the dream come true….

For me, the most attractive person is not the smartest, best looking or the strongest fighter. It is someone who is

STRUGGLING TO LIVE in awe of God, who interprets love as compassion, who understands sincerity as wholehearted.

        ……………………………………………………….

As of March 31, 2021, I am willing to stop earning business and will start up an NPO after reconditioning my clunky body. I will team up with the aforementioned dreamer’s descendants to pursue my “DREAM “ for the rest of my life. My dream?

        Travelling from DYSTOPIA to UTOPIA

        Good Luck My Friend!

        Always with you,

        Hiro
